Freelance Animators, 2D & 3D Artists, Illustrators & all creatives
Welcome to Animator Artist Life. free lessons, resources, advice and a community for freelance animators, 2d & 3D artists, illustrators and creatives.
What's it all about?
After 15 years in the industry as an Animator, 3D Artist, and Motion Designer, I decided to start a YouTube channel—a creative outlet away from client work—to share free tutorials with anyone dreaming of breaking into the animation industry.
I specialize in character animation but work as a generalist, which means taking projects from storyboard to final delivery.
As a studio owner, I’ve honed a wide range of skills, including graphic design, 2D motion design, 3D modeling, rigging, and animation.
This broad expertise is what Animator Artist Life is all about—not just mastering one skill or software but developing the diverse creative toolkit needed to thrive in a professional animation studio.
When I shared my first tutorials on YouTube, the messages of gratitude and success stories from aspiring animators were incredible.
Knowing I could make a difference felt great—and it’s why I’m passionate about continuing to inspire and teach through this blog.
That’s when I realised how amazing it would be to build a community of budding artists, designers, illustrators, and animators—a space where we can share ideas, help each other grow, and learn together.
